I wanted to put this out there. I reviewed this match really quickly, and just at an arms length, this was a good example of what can happen when the first two players to die, die as slowly as they can. The other team, lost one player due to my lings taking out a mineral lines worth of probes, then reinforcements came in and cleaned them out.
Vennos fell first, naturally he being on the leading edge, that location seems to be a lightening rod. Then after some regrouping, they came back in force to clean Sabby out. The good thing was that they died very slowly, and that allows the left over players to bulk them selves up.
Where the other team lost, was, I believe, they invested too much in the ground game, and I switched over from lings, to mutas, which was what I had planned. Step's base was untouched until the hostilities were almost over, then he had almost all air units, and cleaned them up with ease. With no answer to the air, they fell...
... not to mention they spent 10 minutes laying pylons, nexus', and hatcheries all over the map, with no hope of winning, only to be jackasses.
This team was placing, and finally placed in bronze after losing to us.
After the match was over, I realized after begging for things like help, and gas, that my mic was muted. I had kept coughing, so I figured muting the mic so you wouldn't have to hear that. :boink: So, something to keep in mind, those mass roaches worked very well, but his choice of using hydras for his anti air, wasn't a very good idea. Step tore through those very quickly.
